According to information, two Asian workers were killed when a landslide hit and destroyed their house in the industrial area. Residents are invited to leave the coastal area. 2,700 people have been placed in emergency shelters. And in Muscat, rain and waves flood the streets. Many roads around the capital were closed; Only emergency and ambulance permits are still allowed.

The National Crisis Team announced that they would cut off power in highly vulnerable areas to prevent accidents. Air traffic in Oman was stopped, and it was necessary to walk to take off and land in Muscat. Storm preparations are also underway in neighboring Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
