permataqu.xyz - The mystery case of celebrity, influencer, and travel blogger from the United States, Gabby Petito and her fiancé, is still ongoing. On Thursday (10/21/2021) local time, the FBI identified the human remains found in a Florida nature reserve as belonging to Brian Laundrie, the person with an interest in the death of his fiancé, Gabby Petito, while the two were on a hiking trip some time ago. .

The body, backpack and notebook believed to belong to Laundrie were found Wednesday (10/20/2021) in a Florida wilderness park, where the area was submerged in water during an earlier search. The FBI's Denver office said in their news release that a comparison of dental records confirmed that the body they found belonged to Laundrie.

Laundrie's parents' lawyer, Steve Bertolino, also confirmed in a separate report that they discovered that the body belonged to their son. "We have no further comment at this time and we ask that you respect Laundry's privacy at this time," the statement said.

Launching from kimt.com, the FBI statement did not mention the cause of Laundrie's death. It is also not known how long the body may have been submerged in water.
The discovery of Laundrie's body brings to an end a massive search involving federal, state and local law enforcement that began shortly after the man disappeared last week, on September 14, 2021.

For information, two weeks before being found dead, Laundrie was reported to have returned to her parents' home in North Port alone without Gabby Petito after her fiancé was declared missing. In fact, the two are known to be together in the Grand Teton National Park area, Wyoming, around the end of last August. Before disappearing, Laundrie didn't want to say anything about her fiancé's whereabouts.

2. Unfinished Investigation
The discovery of Laundrie's body is not the end of the investigation into Petito's murder. However, so far only Laundrie has been identified by law enforcement officials as having an interest in the case.
The Petito family reported the celebrity's disappearance on September 11, 2021, conducting a search that attracted media attention around the world. In Laundrie's case, most of the search focused on the Carlton Reserve wilderness park near Laundrie's home. This area is a dense forest, swamp area which is a habitat for crocodiles, coyotes, bobcats, snakes, and many other creatures.

Laundrie and Petito first met as teenagers on Long Island, New York. Recently, the two moved to the Gulf Coast of Florida to live with Laundrie's parents.

The couple first gained attention on social media while traveling in a Ford Transit van which was caught on video containing happy scenes that may hide deeper issues. After Petito disappeared, the case was widely highlighted by true crime fans on social media.

3. Case Chronology Overview
Before the FBI found Laundrie, Petito's own body was found one month earlier (September 19, 2021) on the edge of Wyoming's Grand Teton National Park, which the couple had previously visited. The coroner concluded that he died of suffocation and his body remained at the scene for three or four weeks. On August 12, 2021, the couple engaged in a police-mediated physical altercation in Moab, Utah, which did not end in filing a domestic violence lawsuit. Currently, the police there are conducting an internal study to find out whether the two are following the applicable policies.

Laundrie returned home alone on September 1, 2021 in the van the couple had taken on their journey. But later, the van was confiscated by the authorities. Laundrie was also reported missing after telling her parents she was going on a hike at Carlton Reserve.

During the search, authorities received numerous reports of Laundrie's whereabouts from Wyoming to the Appalachian Trail. However, in the end nothing was proven.

4. Threatened with punishment
Laundrie's body was found Wednesday as the search concentrated in the Myakkahatchee Creek Neighborhood Park area, where the Ford Mustang he drove into the wilderness was found. The park is directly adjacent to the Carlton Reserve, both about 56 kilometers south of Sarasota, Florida.
Laundrie has been charged with Wyoming federal charges relating to the unauthorized use of a debit card, which accuses Laundrie of using a Capital One Bank card and a person's personal identification number to make withdrawals or bills worth more than $1,000.

The indictment allowed Laundrie to be arrested by authorities had she been alive at the time of her discovery. Staytune at KapanLagi.com, KLovers so you don't miss the latest hot updates.
