Pig-faced shark, Italy. A sailor finds a pig-faced shark.

 

A group of sailors in Italy, has found a shark. However, the sharks they encountered were not in their usual form. To the extent that the Sailors were frightened when they found a sea creature with the body of a shark and a face like a pig.


Those who are happy to find big fish suddenly feel surprised, how not the face of the fish they find is shaped like a pig.

Then, They moved quickly to remove the strange creature from the water, and found that the animal's form appeared to have the body of a shark but the face of a pig.

Upon closer inspection by people who have expertise in the field of marine fauna, it turns out that the animal is actually an angular roughshark or Oxy notus centrina. These sharks are usually at a depth of 700 meters below the waves.

The Angular rough shark is currently listed as critically endangered by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Despite being endangered, locals say this fish occasionally comes to the surface.

Despite all the information about the Angular rough shark, the strange find went viral after photos of the shark were shared on social media.

Hundreds of comments flooded the post, including many who falsely criticized the sailors for allegedly catching and killing the endangered shark on purpose.
